giulietta does this too...it's so sweet it breaks my heart for some reason. she even wrapped up little doodles she'd made for our cat so he'd have presents too.
yeah, check out that sophie crumb book, even if you just peek at it in the bookstore. her drawing abilities when she was a toddler will blow your mind. her parents kept everything she drew. there were tons of drawings. i guess she left nyc awhile ago and went back to the south of france and had a baby. i still entertain the idea!
