hadley has no shortage of dresses - but when she was invited to a princess-themed birthday party, i noticed that she didn't have a "princess" dress!
we headed out to rokko saree where she picked out her own fabric. palest pink organza embellished with sequins + opalescent beads. lining of china silk + ten yards of fluffy pink tulle.
i followed a 1965 ballerina costume pattern with a few alterations. the back of the dress was finished with an invisible zipper + vintage glass button.
hadley wore her new dress to the birthday party today [where the girls were entertained by sleeping beauty!] + she looked lovely. xo
