Long ago,

I purchased a yard of cotton at ValuVillage -

pink roses painted on a woodgrain background.

I made myself a skirt with this fabric

which I wore until I retired it to the fabric closet

not to be seen again

until yesterday

when I recycled the fabric (again) into a dress for Hadley.
