hadley turned three on monday!


we had a pink-themed party for her on the weekend - pink balloons, pink garland, pink pinata, and pink cake with pink candles!

i had to laugh at myself when my aunt reminded me of hadley's first birthday cake - applesauce couscous cake - or, in her words, a "cold lump".

the following year was carrot cake.

this year was a decadent chocolate cake with pink sugar icing.

it's a slippery slope, my friends!
