lost week

a week ago today i was hit by the flu bug - and i'm still not rid of it! i think that the two-and-a-half years spent dodging every other illness that went around, only intensified the force of this one. blech. needless to say, not much has been going on around here - we missed a little one's birthday party + chris' own birthday celebrations were postponed.

but the week before last was great! we went to a super fun birthday party ...


soon after the candles were blown out - the fire alarm went off! everybody out!


the firetruck came and the kids were super excited -


the firemen handed out stickers and let the kids sit in the firetruck!
