we spent nine quiet nights on saltspring island - renting a cottage at vesuvius beach.
the cottage sits amidst an apple orchard - branches heavy with fruit + ready for picking.
hadley discovered a 'bum' apple and made sure it didn't end up in our apple crisp!
the weather brought a little bit of everything - a cold + rainy (fall) morning at duck creek park
and warm + sunny (summer) days at ruckle park
and burgoyne bay.
