school's out!

hadley finished her first year of pre-school yesterday. we couldn't have asked for better teachers. she loves them so much they are even mentioned in one of her bedtime songs.

for a thank you gift, hadley decorated ceramic take-out cups with porcelain markers. she personalized each with the teacher's name + artwork. one with flowers. the other with a race-car.


unfortunately, my first attempt at cinnamon rolls was not as successful as hadley's project. i stayed up til midnight the night before only to overbake them the next morning. argh! they were introduced to the class as "cookies" and so they loved them!
