swamplandia!

i popped by anthropologie last week + was immediately drawn to a display of books where i found 

swamplandia!  a novel by karen russell.

this is only her second book - her first, 'st. lucy's home for girls raised by wolves' is hands down one of my favourite books.  ever.

here is a great interview with karen russell discussing her many influences [including 'geek love' which i read ages ago - loved it!  + now want to read again].
