the christmas holiday markets are over for another year. thank you to my new friends - vanessa, phaulet, julie and roberto (from the portobello west fashion + art market) + leah, maya, and snezana/nena hats (from heritage hall) - for making all three days so much fun!
at the heritage hall market, i picked up an exquisite necklace made from vintage pink swarvoski crystals and beads from lucid designs. sooooo pretty.
i met annemarie tempelman-kluit - the very busy mama behind yoyomama!
... and kate from tinywarbler. we have become fast friends thru blogging and it was fantastic to finally meet. kate is super sweet and brought gifts - chocolate for me and a snowy owl for hadley!
hadley is thrilled with her owl ("little hoot") - impeccably made with ivory wool and orange floral cotton - it is simply lovely.
thank you to my friends and family who stopped by. my sister arrived (from victoria) sunday afternoon and stayed with us until today.

it sounds like you had a fun, and busy week. i love the necklace you got. the spark is another one of my favorite dress. i am always impressed by your fabrics choice and you put them together beautifully.
